Shirley Hicter

Hicter Shirley, born in Brussels in 1970, is a photographer. One can even say that she has always been a photographer, with a sensitivity and a unique view on the world ranking her among the 'big'. But it is only since 2013 that she is primarily devoted to photography. She favours intuitive catches resulting to sometimes confusing snapshots, ephemeral and precious moments she gently borrows from life, beautiful and touching stories told … or that she makes you want to invent. Her favourite themes are people, places, objects that inspire her in her search for sharing and emotions. Her worldview is sweet, caring, positive but lucid.
